Samsung Galaxy S3 Release Date and Specs Update

The latest on the Samsung Galaxy S3 release date is still a bouncing back and forth fiasco between several dates, and still no confirmation of the release from the manufacturer or prospective wireless providers. Thus far, the only set-in-stone information on the Galaxy S3 is that it will indeed launch in 2012. Hopefully sooner than later for the sake of all the Android groupies who are awaiting the launch as if life depends on it.

Now for specs! Samsung finally quashed the highly circulating rumors which said the Samsung Galaxy S3 would include3D technology. They actually released a statement about not having plans for any 3D technology in upcoming smartphones. Oh well, one can dream… right? As far as other specs, Samsung is again keeping things mostly under wraps, but all the speculation has lead to some pretty good guesses at what may be in store.

The rumors run rampart with possible specs including, a 4.65-inch screen with a resolution of 720×1,280, a Super AMOLED Plus display,  a 1.5GHz chip with 2GB RAM, a 12-mp camera, and an exterior much like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Also, it will apparently have  Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the OS.

Perhaps Samsung will soon, at the very least, confirm some specs for all the consumers who are awaiting the Samsung Galaxy S3 release date.

With the Bionic delay, many who were interested in the device have moved on to other handsets, and the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic may benefit greatly from this. In addition to the large screen, the Epic 4G touch has the Exynos 4210 SoC, which includes a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and an ARM-Mali 400MP GPU. The handset also packs in 1GB of RAM, along with 16GB of internal memory.

Motorola Droid Bionic Release Rumors: Will Android Fans Lose Interest?

While Motorola has stated the Droid Bionic is set for a Summer release, is it possible Bionic fans will begin to lose interest? Consider the fact that the Bionic was set for a second-quarter release date, but then Motorola snatched the device back to rip out the insides and update the components.

This has surely disgruntled at least a portion of the Android fans out there. Also, the Droid Charge is looking quite popular right about now, and many who were waiting on the Bionic seemed to have jumped to a different Android smartphone baby.

Okay Verizon Wireless and Motorola; It’s time to step up the game before the players get bored and move on! Of course, the people here at Android Chatter will remain faithful until the end, but that is just what we do.

***Update***
An article at IBTimes says new information has been revealed by Motorola via Twitter, but thus far no such information can be located by Android Chatter. We will update as we find any new Droid Bionic info.

Android Peeing on Apple T-Shirt Available as Droid Bionic Release Drags On

Android junkies are growing tired of waiting on the Motorola Droid Bionic release date to arrive. The wireless manufacturer recently tweeted to let fans of the Smartphone know the Bionic “is coming soon.” Is it worth the wait though?

Perhaps while everyone is waiting to get their paws on the Droid Bionic, they can head over and purchase their very own Android peeing on Apple T-Shirt. The shirt has everyone’s favorite green robot peeing on what has to be a very displeased (if possible) apple.

Now Verizon Wireless customers have another piece of hilarious Android memorabilia to sport on the Motorola Droid Bionic release date. The other item being the Android peeing on Apple decal.

Things seem to be on the up-and-up with the Droid Bionic release. Since Motorola confirmed a Summer Bionic Launch, customers can rest assured they won’t have much longer to wait for their device.

While its obvious everyone wants to have the Bionic ASAP, its better to wait and have a device that has not been rushed. No one wants another fiasco like the HTC Thunderbolt– Now do they?
